Resumen

The Parties agree that the Joint Rivers Commission shall decide on the basis of a pre-feasibility study on how to increase the flow of the Ganges river at Farakka and that that solution shall be implemented immediately by the Parties. The Parties also decided on the release of water during the next two dry seasons in accordance with Schedule A and joint inspection and monitoring arrangements for this purpose. The Parties further decided to conclude a final sharing agreement immediately after the completion of the pre-feasibility study on increase of the water flow.
