Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of Uzbekistan on cooperation in the sphere of peaceful utilization of nuclear energy

Соглашение между Правительством Российской Федерации и Правительством Республики Узбекистан о научно-техническом сотрудничестве в области мирного использования атомной энергии

The Parties shall cooperate in the following fields: (a) projecting, construction and operation of nuclear power plants with a view of energy production; (b) research; (c) storage of spent nuclear fuel; (d) radiation and nuclear safety and environmental protection; (e) management of radioactive waste; (f) transportation of nuclear materials and radioactive substances (art. 1). The cooperation shall be carried out in the following forms: (a) joint inspection of nuclear plants; (b) exchange of information and data; (c) transfer of experts (art. 2).
