Section 3 lays down that the Governor in Council may designate plants as noxious weeds generally or in respect of any part of the Province. A designation of a noxious weed shall classify the weed as belonging to class number one or class number two. Furthermore, the Act deals with, amongst others, duty to destroy noxious weeds, inspectors, consultation with occupant of land, order for occupant to destroy noxious weed, order for non-resident to destroy noxious weed, notice prohibiting sowing of crop, obstruction of inspector prohibited, duty of inspector to record expenses; notice prohibiting sowing of crop; restriction on moving of farm machinery; disposal of weed seeds in grain plants, etc. The text consists of 21 sections.
