The Water Quality Program includes projects or programs of public agencies throughout the state that will either (1) reduce the amounts of agricultural drainage water or (2), improve the quality of agricultural drainage water with the result of improving the quality of water used for agricultural, municipal, or industrial purposes. The Environmental Water Program concerns the area of the City of Los Angeles and, among other things, restoration and enhancement of fisheries on the Upper Sacramento River, San Joaquin River.
