The State Water Resources Control Board shall enter into an agreement with the Department to assist in implementing this Chapter. The Department shall also adopt, by emergency Regulations, requirements for groundwater replenishment using recycled water. The Chapter sets out considerations for recycling criteria for surface water augmentation and considerations for feasibility for direct potable reuse.
