The object of the Council is to promote, control and regulate traditional medicine practice. A person shall not operate or own premises as a practitioner or produce herbal medicine for sale unless that person is registered in accordance with this Act with the Registrar of the Council. The Council shall, among other things, collaborate with the appropriate agencies for large scale cultivation of medicinal plants and for the preservation of biodiversity. Texto completo Inglés
