The chapter provides that the superior court that has jurisdiction over the general adjudication of all rights to use water in the Gila river system and source has jurisdiction over all civil actions relating to the interpretation and enforcement of all of the following: Title III of the Arizona water settlements act (P.L. 108-451), including sections 312(d) and 312(h); the Tohono O'odham settlement agreement; and the groundwater protection program established pursuant to article 2 of this chapter. The chapter defines "Tohono o'odham settlement agreement" as the agreement dated April 30, 2003 between the nation, the state of Arizona and other parties. "Nation" means the Tohono O'odham nation organized under a constitution approved in accordance with section 16 of the act of June 18, 1934 (25 United States Code section 476).
