Resumen

The purpose of the present Ordinance is to implement the Council Directive 75/440/EEC concerning the quality required of surface water intended for the abstraction of drinking water in the Member States and the Council Directive 79/869/EEC concerning the methods of measurement and frequencies of sampling and analysis of surface water intended for the abstraction of drinking water in the Member States. The text consists of 10 articles as follows: Purpose of Ordinance (1); Sphere of application (2); Determination of threshold values (3); Sampling and analysis (4); Exceptions (5); Project to improve water quality (6); Authorization to abstract water (7); Report of results (8); Gender equalization (9); Entry into force (10). Four Annexes are enclosed.
