Entry into force notes
The present Ordinance enters into force on the first day of the month following its promulgation.
Resumen

The present Ordinance contains dispositions regulating the prevention of spreading of swine fever. Once the disease is ascertained in a certain place, an expert group has to be called upon and within 6 week it has to submit to the Ministry for Health and Women a report advising the most appropriate measures to be taken in these circumstances.Twelve months after the last case has been dealth with they said expert group will have to provide a monitoring plan to the Ministry for Health and Women. Article 6 establishes that pigs, pig semen, pig embryons or egg cells from these areas may not be made available in other EC countries. The Ordinance consists of 7 articles.
