Resumen This Act, consisting of 11 sections and three Schedules, provides for the setting up and management of the Subantarctic Islands Marine Reserves, so as to conserve and protect its scenery, natural features and ecosystem. These Protected Areas are divided and governed as follows: Moutere Mahue/Antipodes Island Marine Reserve; Moutere Hauriri/Bounty Islands Marine Reserve created; Moutere Ihupuku/Campbell Island Marine Reserve created; Extension of Moutere Ihupuku/Campbell Island Marine Reserve; Effect of declaration of marine reserves; Naming of marine reserves; Rangers deemed to be appointed from New Zealand; and Defence Force.
