Hevea not originating from South East Asia shall only be imported if the plants are to be used for scientific purposes and are disinfected and a written permission of the Competent Authority has been obtained. Hevea originating from the American tropics or from any other country in which South American leaf blight is present and that may be used for propagation, shall be allowed to be imported on the conditions as set out above and only if grown in a plant quarantine station.
