Entry into force notes
The present Regulations enter into force on 15 December 1999.
Resumen

The present Regulations are made under the Mineral Resources Act, 1985. Whoever proposes to conduct seismic operations in Saskatchewan must adhere to the present Regulations and apply to Saskatchewan Energy and Mines for a licence to conduct seismic exploration and for an explosive permit if blasting is used as an energy source. The holder of the exploration licence must also submit a “Submission of Preliminary Plans” form to Saskatchewan Energy for approval. The text consists of 74 sections divided into 9 Parts as follows: Title, interpretation, application (I); Exploration licences and explosives permits (II); Preliminary plans, reports and notices (III); Restrictions on seismic exploration (IV); Shot hole and surface energy source operations (V); Restoration of damaged property (VI); Handling, loading and detonation of explosives (VII); Offences and penalties (VIII); Repeal, transitional and coming into force (IX).
