Part One gives definitions. A Producer is he who sorts, classifies, cleans, disinfects and packs the seeds. Part Two, Section (2) prohibits the growing and selling of ameliorated seeds unless according to these regulations and the Annex. Sections (3) and (4) regard the creation of a Seeds Authority that shall have powers to set regulations and advise the Minister of Agriculture. Sections (5) and (6) provide for the appointing of a Seeds Approving Committee and seeds approval requests procedures. Sections (7) and (10) deal with Seed Breeding and Seed Breeding request procedures. Section (11) lists Four quality classes for ameliorated seeds. Sections (12) to (14) regard classification procedures. Sections (15) to (19) provide with procedures regarding the growing of approved seeds. Section (20) regards the production of ameliorated seeds for exportation purposes. Seeds for exportation purposes must be conform to target country regulations regarding certified seeds. Section (21) provides with field inspection procedures that shall be operated upon cultivation appearance. Section (22) a grower is obliged to notify the Seeds Supervision Service for any type of pest removal operations to be operated on a seeds cultivation field. Sections (23) to (26) regard cultivation procedures that must be notified and supervised by the Seeds Supervision Service inspector. Section (27) regards the usage of new containers for ameliorated seeds and the optional use of used containers for certified seeds. Sections (28) to (34) regard production procedures. Section (36) deals with laboratory tests. Section (37) prohibits the passing or moving of seeds in the way that could cause spilling or mixing of cultivations and species. Section (38) regards the Director’s authorization for the seeds as Ameliorated Seeds for seeds that are conform to this regulation. Sections (39) to (44) provide with labelling and containers sealing procedures. Sections (45) and (46) provide with stocking instructions, packaging and labelling changing procedures. Section (47) prohibits the selling of ameliorated seeds if not from a labelled container that has been produced by an authorized seed producer. Section (48) deals with Appeals procedures regarding this regulation. Sections (49) to (51) and the Annex have been omitted from the copy of this regulation. Section (52) gives name to this document.
