Resumen

These Rules, issued by the Director-General of the Department of Fisheries under paragraph 1 of section 8 of the Royal Fisheries Ordinance, amend the Rules and Procedures for Vessel Monitoring System Installation and Maintenance in Monitoring Aquatic Animal Transshipment Vessels or Storage Vessels to Function At All Time by adding to paragraph two in clause 3 a provision concerning procedures to be carried out by the Fisheries Monitoring Center of the Department of Fisheries in case a new or replaced vessel monitoring system has been installed after the force date of the principal Notification. The Fisheries Monitoring Center shall forward the report on such installation to the Port in-Port out Control Center in the competent area within 24 hours so that inspection of its installation as well as sealing and marking of the VMS equipment can take place.
