Resumen

This Chapter of the Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) concerns rights of federally recognized Indian tribes. Its purpose is to set forth the procedures for carrying out a general stream adjudication in Oregon. More specifically, the Chapter provides for water rights before 1909 and water rights of federally recognized Indian tribes. According to the document, it is desirable to provide a procedure for conducting negotiations to determine the water rights of any federally recognized Indian tribe that may have a federal reserved water right claim in Oregon.
