Resumen This Resolution is composed of 16 articles. Terms and definitions are given in articles 1 and 2. Introduction or taking out of animal consignments without previous veterinary certificates issued by the Official Authority of the country of origin shall be prohibited (art. 3). All animal consignments shall be subjected to the control and inspection in accordance with veterinary measures (art. 4). Introduction or taking out of animal consignments should be carried out only through official crossing points (art. 5). The importation and exportation of veterinary medicines and vaccinations is allowed only by previous licences issued by the competent authority (art. 7). The Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation will issue the necessary regulations and resolutions for the implementation of this Resolution in particular: on crossing points; measures of quarantine; requirements and sources for animal consignments; fees and taxes for veterinary certificates; technical and sanitary requirements for quarantine; measures for registration of animal medicines and vaccinations; measures for the issuance of importation licences of vaccination; etc. (art. 15).
