Resumen The aim of this Resolution is to adopt the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) system for the inspection on industries producing and processing fish food to be exported to the European Union. The present Resolution is composed of 24 articles and the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP). Article 1 deals with the scope of this Resolution. Article 2 provides for terms and definitions. Article 3 considers the HACCP system an integral part of this Resolution. Articles 4-9 define the obligations of industries producing or processing fish food including the following: adoption of the HACCP system; plans for rectification measures; revision and valuation of sufficiency and efficiency of the plan; and maintenance of registers for HACCP. Articles 10-12 specify the tasks of the Food Industry Control Unit. Articles 13-20 pertain to the following: application for the approval of HACCP’s Plan; checklist; compatibility or incompatibility of industries; and rehabilitation and revaluation of industries.
