Resumen

This Resolution approves the increase in the number of beneficiary families of conditional Social Monetary Transfers, through the so-called “Vulnerable Families Programme” of the Social Protection - regular PFV for 4,500 households. The Programme aims to implement a temporary, broad social protection system, through the attribution of an income to families in situations of vulnerability and their inclusion in activities that facilitate the formation of their human capital and the their access to basic services, as well as the strengthening of intervention mechanisms of the National Social Protection System, through institutional, methodological and financial support. The financial support object of the conditional Social Monetary Transfers component consists of a fixed monthly amount of 600 Dobras to families in situations of vulnerability, with the exception of the month of September, in which families receive 600 additional Dobras for enrolling children at school. The components of human capital training consist of professional training courses in the hotel and tourism sector and ACPE courses that have in their curriculum the identification of income-generating activities and the allocation of a fund to start or improve the selected activity and adequate monitoring by the DPSSF. Families in situations of poverty and vulnerability are beneficiaries of the Vulnerable Families Programme.
