Resumen

The aim of this Resolution is to lay down rules and bases for the preventive control on agricultural firms and factories, fighting materials (pesticides, insecticides and the like) and on methods used for handling and circulation of those materials and products in order to protect the health and physical integrity of operators and workers in the aforementioned activities. It is composed of 3 articles. Article 1 defines rules, requirements and obligations for the preventive control on agricultural firms and factories, fighting materials (pesticides, insecticides and the like) and on methods used for handling and circulation of these materials and products which are: to select and choose suitable places and ambient for the aforementioned activities; to use fighting materials registered at the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian reform and have labels in Arabic language; to have and keep chemical safety labels in Arabic related to fighting materials; periodic medical control for operators and workers; to make available a kitbag for first aid materials, fire fighting means as well as public and sanitary utilities; to take right, safety and security measures for all activities related to those materials; to maintain equipment and gear; to keep registers; to use and employ specialists; to obtain a previous authorization from the General Authority of Environment; to provide suitable clothes; to make available potable water; to guarantee suitable airing, lighting; to train workers and operators; and to protect the environment from pollution.
