Resumen This Resolution is composed of 9 articles and 6 Annexes. The registration of imported pesticides by authorized companies is subject to the presentation of information mentioned in the Annexes as follows: (a) general information concerning the name and address of the industry; (b) certificate from ISO 900:2000 Scope Formulation; (c) name and address of the importer; (d) trade name; (e) destination of use; (f) specification of the registration for the imported pesticide and local produced pesticide; (g) re-registration of pesticide; (h) experimenting licence; (i) certificates of the use and registration of pesticides; (j) accreditation letter from the producer to the distributor; (k) definition of the principle active substance; (l) chemical name, composition and family and specific weight according to the IUPAC or to CA; (m) Technical Grade Active Ingredient Certificate; (n) chemical and physical requirements; (o) analysis methods, poisonous impact and effects on the environment, water, soil, plants, animals, birds and human beings; (p) biological requirements and type of the targeted epidemics; (q) safety use of pesticide; (r) storage and treatment of the empty packages; (s) labels; (t) technical file of pesticide; and (u) pesticide registration’s cancellation reasons. The Plant Pharmacy Department shall carry out the conservation of the necessary registers for the implementation of this Resolution. The provisions of this Resolution shall also apply to pesticides produced in Lebanon. The Pesticide Registration and Re-registration Forms in Lebanon are provided for in Annex 1 and 2. The list of maximum levels of tolerated impurities for active ingredients issued by the Ministry is given in Annex 3. EPA List 1 inert of toxicological concern is provided for in Annex 4.
