The Annaseriyah Spring with boundaries defined as in the attached topographic map, conserved at the General Irrigation Department of Coast Basin-Pollution Combating, Irrigation Office of Tartoos-Pollution Combating, Ministry of Housing and Reconstruction, Technical Services Department in Hems and at the Ministries of Tourism, Industry, Environment and Petroleum, is to be considered a protected area against pollution (art. 1). The following activities in the aforementioned area are prohibited: (a) all industrial and architectural activities; (b) the random use of pesticides and fertilizers; (c) irrigation of the cultivated land by using sewerage and drainage water; (d) construction of buildings, residences, industrial installations; (e) creation of treatment stations for sewerage waters; (f) creation of mines and stone quarries; (g) creation of dumps for waste disposal and refuses; (h) creation of cemeteries; (i) creation of camping, stadiums and military installations; (j) creation of roads and streets; and, (k) penetration and filtration of oil, combustibles, poisons and radioactive materials (arts. 2 and 3). The General Irrigation Department for Coast Basin shall protect the aforementioned spring and illustrate the field of its boundary (art. 4). Texto completo Árabe
