The protected area extends from the course of Ain Al-ma crossing the following zones: Ruoisat, Dahr Al-Shir, Alqattara, Almadayeq, Forest of Addabla, Aláiroun, Alqinnaba, Alúioun, Haoumat Btalin, Sahlat alkhasiby and Khandaq Hasan, to the Course of Ain Alhashish crossing the following zones: Dahr Abu Jamil, Bimrim, Rouisat Sofer, Al-Oran, Ain Mahreid, Aljanyin, Jisr Arruhban, Alqamuá and Addoweika. The length of the area extends from the source to the mouth and the width for 500 metres from the centre of the course of the River in the direction of the two banks. The Ministry of the Environment coordinating with the Urbanization Planning Department defines conditions and requirements for permits and licenses necessary for possible works in the aforementioned areas.
