Resumen The aim of this Resolution is to prevent the spread and diffusion of palm diseases and pests such as the Rhynchophorus ferruginous and Fusarium Oxysporum. It is composed of 4 articles. Article 1 lists palm trees and seedlings prohibited to import and introduce in Lebanon. Article 2 prohibits the importation of palm trees and seedlings (Phoenix Canariensis, Phoenix Dactylifera, Phoenix Sylvestris) from Morocco, Algeria and Mauritania. Article 3 excludes from the ban, palm seedlings produced from tissue culture, on the basis of a certificate, from the competent authority, and, the age of seedlings not more than 2 years as well as the diameter of the trunk at the base not more than 5 cm.
