These Regulations enter into force on 24 October 1989.
Resumen

The purpose of these Regulations is the surveillance and supervision of radiation protection in the activities of manufacture, use and supply of radioisotopes and radiation-emitting facilities, the protection of the environment and to ensure safety and health of the public and persons who work with ionizing radiations. The Regulations consist of 37 articles divided into 7 Chapters: General provisions (I); Permission and registration (II); Management of radiation protection (III); Management of radiation accidents (IV); Supervision of radiation protection (V); Penalty (VI); Supplementary provisions (VII). Radiation protection facilities in a radiation working site shall apply for and obtain an Authorized Registration issued by the departments of public health and public security. For projects involving the treatment of radioactive liquid, gaseous and solid wastes, an environmental impact assessment document approved by the environmental protection department shall be submitted. Radiation protection supervisors are authorized to supervise and inspect radiation works.
