The consignments shall be accompanied by the following documents: (a) a valid import licence to be granted by the Director General of Veterinary Service or the State Director concerned; (b) a description of the animal; (c) a veterinary health certificate; (d) a declaration by the Master or Captain of the Ship or Aircraft on which deers have been transported. Regulation 6 establishes the quarantine measures to be undertaken upon arrival in Malaysia: all the animals shall be quarantined for a period of not less than 10 days at the approved quarantine station.
