Resumen In order to lessen the infiltration of organic substances and fertilizing compounds in ground and surface water, restrictions are placed by this Regulation on the keeping of livestock and the use of fertilizers. Table 1 included in section 1 contains an indication of the maximum allowed number of animals on a hectare of land for farmers keeping 5 or more animal units. If a cattle breeder has concluded valid contracts with other farmers for the sale of manure and has sufficient storage capacity, a larger number of animals to be kept on a hectare of land may be allowed on the condition that only a permitted amount of manure is spread on his own land. Farmers keeping more than 5 animal units shall maintain a manure storage. Certain requirements are given for the construction of such storage, which shall in any event not be constructed in the so-called coastal belt (sect. 3). (8 sections) Texto completo Inglés
