Resumen The main tasks of state veterinary survey over transportation of live fish, fecundated spawn, crawfish and other aquatic biodiversity irrespectively of the purpose of transportation are: a). protection of water basins destined for fisheries against introduction of pathogens of infectious and invasion fish disease and disease of crawfish and other aquatic biodiversity; b). prevention of destruction of fishes, fecundated spawn and other aquatic biodiversity during transportation; c). protection of the population and animals against disease, the source or mechanical carrier of which are fishes, crawfish and other aquatic biodiversity; d). protection of water basins destined for fisheries against introduction of pathogens of fish disease and disease of other aquatic biodiversity from other countries. Veterinary survey envisaged by the present Regulation is carried out by veterinary institutions and organizations of the system of the Ministry of Agriculture and is applicable to transportation by all means of transport of live fish, fecundated spawn, invertebrate, aquatic plants and other water organisms fit for fish feed and fish-farming in water basins destined for fisheries irrespectively of their destination and departmental jurisdiction of water basins and fish-farming establishments from which they are transported.
