Entry into force notes: This Regulation enters into force on the date of Croatian accession to the European Union.

Resumen: This Regulation establishes all necessary measures for the protection of animals used for scientific or educational purposes on the territory of the Croatian Republic and directly applies on: a) the replacement and reduction of the use of animals in experiments and improvement of the breeding, accommodation, care and use of animals in experiments; b) the origin, breeding, marking, care and accommodation and killing of animals; c) the activities of breeders, suppliers and users; d) the evaluation and approval of projects involving the use of animals in experiments
