Resumen

This Regulation establishes tasks, functions and the procedure for operation of the Department of Crop Expertise of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Department is a subordinate unit of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation of Kyrgyz Republic and is authorized state body on implementation of seed and varietal control, carrying out scientific and production activities, expertise of agricultural crops and their processed products, issuance of documents certifying varietal, sowing and economic qualities of agricultural and other plants. The objectives of the Department are: (a) examination and evaluation of the varietal and sowing qualities of seeds, planting material of agricultural crops, grain and their products; (b) testing of varieties and plant genetic resources. The main tasks of the Department are: (a) implementation of control over the varietal and sowing qualities of seeds and planting material of agricultural and other plants; (b) carrying out field inspection of seed crops and plantations, soil control of seed lots; (c) expertise of sowing qualities of seed and planting material of crops and other plants; field inspection of sowing and planting of agricultural crops, quality of grain and products of their processing; (d) expertise and monitoring of the quality of grain of agricultural crops and products of their processing (flour, bran, waste) delivered to the grain storage enterprises and other economic entities, regardless of their form of ownership.
