The text recognise the plastic bags that damage the environment and ecosystem as they are not recyclable. The Regulation requires producers of plastic bags to replace 20% of their production with the plastic materials that are eco-friendly through a period of five years. The Ministry of Industry, Mine and Commerce is in charge to introduce the procedures for limiting production, distribution and consumption of plastic bags with the purpose of reduction of waste production. This Regulation ban distribution of free plastic bags in specific markets, and provide limitations on the size of the produced plastics with the purpose of changing the products to recyclable materials. The text further lays put provision for increasing public information with regard to reducing consumption of plastic bags through media and through education. The text contains 10 Articles.
