Entry into force notes

The Regulation enters into force on the day it is published in the Official Journal.

Resumen

The aim of this Regulation is to protect consumer health by ensuring food safety. The Regulation further determines the rules and procedures of monitoring certain substances and their residues in live animals and animal products and the duties of the institutions and staff responsible from the implementation of this Regulation.
