In particular, only authorized veterinarians may examine and detect infected cows. All livestock suffering from tuberculosis should be marked to be distinguishable. The owner of cows with brucellosis are obliged to keep the ill animals separate from others and send them to slaughterhouses in due time. The Iran Veterinary Organization shall pay compensation to all farmers who suffered losses.
