In particular, all livestock suffering from brucellosis should be marked to be distinguished. The owners of livestock with brucellosis are obliged to keep the ill animals separate from others and send them in due time to slaughterhouses. All livestock between 3 and 8 months should be vaccinated against brucellosis. The Iran Veterinary Organization shall pay compensation to all farmers who suffered losses.
