Resumen This Regulation, consisting of 30 articles divided into seven Chapters, establishes the Certification System for Sustainable Palm Oil Plantation in Indonesia. Palm Oil Plantations include all activities related to: managing natural and human resources, production facilities, tools and machinery, cultivation, harvesting, processing, and marketing of oil palm. Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil Plantation (ISPO) is a Business system that is economically viable, socio-culturally feasible, and environmentally friendly based on statutory provisions. ISPO certification is a specific assessment on Oil Palm Plantation. The scope of these regulations include: a) ISPO certification; b) institutional; c) acceptance, market competitiveness, and participation; d) guidance and supervision; and e) penalty. The implementation of the ISPO Certification system aims to: a) ensure and improve the management and development of Oil Palm Plantations in accordance with ISPO principles and criteria; b) increase the acceptance and competitiveness of Indonesian Palm Oil Plantation Results in the national and international markets; and c) increase efforts to accelerate the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
