Resumen

This Regulation provides for the requirements for handling of medicated feed. More specifically, it provides that a person who is engaged in the production of medicated feedingstuffs shall have an activity license for the production of medicated feedingstuffs. Medicated feed may be produced only from medicated feed premix for which the State Agency of Medicines has issued a marketing authorization for a veterinary medicinal product and registered as a veterinary medicinal product with the State Agency of Medicines and on the basis of a prescription for medicated feedingstuffs issued by a veterinarian in accordance with Regulation No. 21 of the Minister of Agriculture of 23 February 2005 “on Requirements and Procedure for the Use of Medicinal Products and Medicated Feed for the Prevention and Treatment of Animal Diseases “. This Regulation further provides for requirements for packaging and labeling of medicated feedingstuffs; requirements for storage and dispensing of medicated feedingstuffs; requirements for placing medicated feedingstuffs on the market; requirements for imported medicated feedingstuffs; and keeping records of medicated feedingstuffs produced and placed on the market.
