Resumen

Live plants and parts thereof with earth sticking thereto, e.g. trees, scrubs, perennial plants, vegetables with roots, bulbs, potatoes and other tubers, cabbage, plants for planting, potted plants and the like may be imported into Iceland only if the consignments are accompanied by a health certificate issued by an official institute for the supervision of plant disease in the country of origin. The certificate shall grant the information required by article 2. The foods shall first be transported to Reykjavik for inspection (art. 4). The vegetables reefrred to in article 5 shall be subject to disinfection in the country of origin, prior to importation. Article 6 sets out the conditions under which bulbs and tubers of ornamental plants may be imported from Holland and Belgium.
