Resumen

President of the Regional Council of Ministers decrees to validate the Regulation on licensed fisheries requiring payment. Licensed fisheries requiring payment must be applied taking into consideration the state of the stock of fish, its use for industrial and artisanal fishing, taking into account prognoses scientific fisheries institutions and fishing inspections. Fishing areas, the amount of catch and the modalities of licensed fisheries requiring payment must be fixed by the fishing inspection by agreement with the Regional Ministry of Ecology and natural Resources. The Regulation specifies the types of authorized fishing gear. 10 percent of the total number of daily licenses must be sold on preferential terms for privileged categories of users. Infringement of the present Regional Regulation and of the modalities of licensed fisheries requiring payment is equal to the infringement of environmental protection legislation.
