This Regional Law enters into force 10 days after the date of its official publication.
Resumen

This Regional Law regulates some issues related to expropriation of livestock and animal products with a view of prevention of the outbreak and liquidation of hotbeds of dangerous animal diseases. It defines powers of state bodies in the aforesaid sphere. Regional State Council shall be responsible for lawmaking and supervision over compliance with the regional legislation in the field of veterinary. Regional Governor shall be responsible for establishment of quarantine and other restrictions aimed at prevention of the spread and elimination of foci of infectious and other animal diseases on the regional territory, cancellation of restrictive measures (quarantine) on the regional territory and application of special arrangements for liquidation of foci of infectious animal diseases. Regional Government shall be responsible for prevention and liquidation of animal diseases and treatment thereof and protection against diseases common to animals and human beings.
