Resumen This Regional Law establishes legal, organizational and economic grounds for the realization of ecological education and creation of the conditions for the formation of ecological culture of the regional population. Principles of ecological education shall be: (a) creation of favourable conditions for ecological education; (b) systemic approach, complexity and continuity of ecological education; (c) orientation of ecological education to stable development of the region; and (d) openness and accessibility of ecological information. Ecological education of the population shall include: (a) information of the population on adopted and drafted on environmental and ecological legislative acts; (b) dissemination and promulgation of ecological knowledge; (c) organization of conferences, lectures and seminars; and (d) publication of ecological literature (art. 8).
