Regional Law No. 733-OZ “On procurement and harvesting of non-timber forest resources by citizens for individual personal needs”.

This Regional Law establishes that citizens shall have the right of free stay in forests for the purpose of procurement of non-timber forest resources free of charge for individual personal needs. It shall be applicable to non-edible non-timber forest products. Procurement of the aforesaid resources shall be carried out in accordance with forestry regulations of forest districts and forest parks in accordance with amount and rates set forth annually. Felling of trees for the procurement of birchbark and tanbark shall be prohibited. Collection of fuelwood shall be authorized all the year round.
