Entry into force notes

This Regional Law enters into force on the date of its official publication.

Resumen

This Regional Law ensures realization of organizational and legal norms in the sphere of protection of the population, soil, waterbodies, air and industrial and social infrastructure, and also natural environment against natural and technological disasters. The scope of this Regional Law shall be as follows: (a) prevention of the outbreak of natural and technological disasters; (b) reduction of damages and losses caused by natural and technological disasters; (c) mitigation of the consequences of natural and technological disasters; and (d) delimitation of plenary powers between regional authorities and local government in the sphere of protection of the population and territory against natural and technological disasters.
