Resumen This Regional Law regulates relations in the sphere of hunting and hunting management. Hunting management shall be carried out by legal persons that have been granted the right of long-term management of wild fauna species subject to hunting within the boundaries of hunting areas (Art. 2). Hunting grounds shall be classified as: (a) areas conceded to legal persons for long-term hunting management; and (b) prohibited hunting areas: reserves, sanctuaries, green belts and other protected areas (Art. 4). Long-term management of wild fauna species subject to hunting (licence) can be granted to legal persons (hunting managers) within the boundaries of hunting area established by contract for the period from 10 to 49 years (Art. 7). Hunting rules shall include: (a) hunting seasons and hunting modalities; (b) list of wild fauna species authorized for hunting; (c) list of wild fauna species prohibited for hunting; (d) rates of hunting; (e) prohibited hunting gear and prohibited hunting methods; (f) list of prohibited hunting areas; (g) fines for the infringement of hunting rules and regulations; (h) legalization of wildlife products; (i) mapping of authorized hunting grounds; (k) rights and duties of hunters and hunting managers; and (l) rights of the officials of hunting inspection (Art. 9).
