Resumen This Regional Law regulates relations in the sphere of organization, protection and functioning of protected areas. Regional protected areas shall be classified as follows: (a) natural parks; (b) state nature reserves; (c) nature monuments; (d) dendrological parks and botanical gardens; and (e) spas and healthcare areas (art. 3). Regional protected areas shall pertain to public property and shall be governed by the authorized regional institution (art. 7). Regional protected areas shall be recorded in the regional register of protected areas (art. 11). Regional administration shall reserve land for the proclamation of protected areas (art. 12).
