This Regional Decree enters into force ten days after the date of its official publication.
Resumen

This Regional Decree establishes that regional state nature reserves “Boyskye bolota” (Boysk wetlands), "Zulumaysky", "Irkutny", "Kadinsky", "Kireysky", "Kochergatsky", "Magdansky", "Tayursky", "Tukolon", "Chaysky" and "Educhansky" shall be classified as complex (landscape) reserves constituted on permanent (open-ended) basis with a view of conservation of unique and typical natural complexes and objects, wild fauna and wild flora species, genetic resources thereof, ecological education and healthcare of the population. The aforesaid regional nature reserves shall perform the following functions: (a) reduction of anthropogenic impact and conservation of natural landscapes; (b) conservation and reproduction of wild fauna and wild flora species, natural habitats and migratory routes thereof; (c) scientific research; and (d) performance of state environmental monitoring. The following activities shall be prohibited: (a) resin tapping; (b) timber extraction, except for sanitary felling and felling for extinguishment of forest fires; (c) any type of hunting except for regulation of number of wild fauna species; (d) water abstraction; (e) soil disturbance; and (f) radioactive pollution of the territory.
