Resumen The present Regulations were made under the Mineral Resources Act, 1959 which was repealed, but these Regulations continue in force under the Crown Minerals Act. In particular, the Regulations lay down comprehensive provisions relating to the granting, suspension and withdrawal of permits and licences. The text – consisting of 59 sections – deals with the following matters: prospecting permits, leases, licences to remove quarriable substance, royalty, royalty free licences and leases, surface rights, disposition of quarrying rights in unsurveyed areas and general provisions.
