Resumen

The present Regulation lays down provisions relating to quality control of fish. Fish shall be packed in new, clean and sound containers. An inspector may detain fish or any container of fish for the purpose of inspection and of identifying such fish; the inspector may attach to any of the fish or any container of fish a numbered tag supplied by the Ministry. The text consists of 81 sections divided into 11Parts as follows: General (I); Labelling (II); Code markings (III); Canned fish (IV); Fresh or frozen fish (V); General construction and equipment requirements for establishments (VI); Additional construction and equipment requirements for canneries (VII); General operating requirements for establishments (VIII); Additional operating requirements for canneries (IX); Additional operating requirements for frozen-storage establishments (X); Transportation of fish (XI).
