Resumen

These Regulations, composed of 18 sections and two Annexes, make provisions and establish procedures for the regulation of minced fish products in Israel. Section 1 gives definitions. Section 2 lists conditions for the production of minced fish food products. Section 3 establishes that minced fish products shall be produced in specific places. Sections 4-6 provide with procedures and conditions for the production process. Section 7 regards storage indications. Section 8 relates to the production of fish burgers. Sections 9 and 10 deal with packaging and labelling of minced fish food products. Section 11 prohibits any type of marketing on expired minced fish food product. Section 12 prohibits the labelling with “export” on minced fish food products packages. Sections 13 and 14 regard further packaging indications. Section 15 prohibits the opening of a minced fish food product package unless he/she is the consumer. Section 16 regards inspection and test procedures. Sections 17 and 18 give general information.
