Resumen These Provisions have the purpose of regulating the market order of road transport of dangerous goods, safeguarding the people’s lives and property, protecting the environment and maintaining the lawful rights and interests of all parties involved in the road transport of dangerous goods. The Provisions consist of 59 articles divided into 7 Chapters: General provisions (I); Transport licensing (II); Management of special vehicles and equipment (III); Transport of dangerous goods (IV); Supervision and check (V); Legal liabilities (VI); Supplementary provisions (VII). The transport of military dangerous goods shall be excluded from these Provisions. “Dangerous goods” as mentioned in these Provisions refer to the goods that are explosive, inflammable, poisonous, erosive or radioactive in nature and need special care during the course of transport, etc. The dangerous goods shall be determined in accordance with the national standards as prescribed in the Name List of Dangerous Goods.
