Provisions on the Administration of the Entry and Exit Inspection and Quarantine Procedures.

These Provisions, consisting of 32 Articles, are enacted for the purpose of strengthening the administration of the inspection and quarantine procedures and improving the efficiency and work quality of inspection and quarantine clearance, “Inspection and quarantine procedures” mentioned here means the process that the entry and exit inspection and quarantine institutions implement inspection and quarantine of the goods entering and leaving China and other supervision subjects according to the law. They shall generally include: acceptance of inspection application, form examination deployment and control, on-site and laboratory inspection and quarantine, quarantine of animals and plants in isolation, quarantine treatment, comprehensive assessment, signing of exit visa and filing.
