Entry into force notes

The Decree shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette, except for the provisions of paragraphs 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10 of article 2 which shall enter into force on 1 May 2003.

Resumen

The present Decree amends certain provisions of Presidential Decree No. 315/00 regarding the principles governing the organization of official inspections in the field of animal nutrition. These amendments come forth with the aim of complying with the provisions of European Directives Nos. 2000/77/EC and 2001/46/EC. Among other provisions, article 18a is added to Presidential Decree No. 315/00, establishing the Laboratory for the Control of Animal Feedstuffs which shall be the competent authority of the Ministry of Agriculture for the implementation of the provisions of this Decree.
